This summer, Manchester United has been associated with a number of high-profile players from across Europe, and the club may be able to finalize a few more additions before the end of the transfer season after signing Jadon Sancho on Friday officially joined the club.
Despite the fact that United have made additions, they may also lose one of their finest players this summer. They have a large number of players on loan who may not return to the club in the near future, as well as players who were at Old Trafford last season who may go.
As a result of interest from his native France’s Paris Saint-Germain, world-class midfielder Paul Pogba may not be at Old Trafford next season. There are low chances of him signing a new contract at Old Trafford amid the interest from his home country’s team.
According to Sky Sports, Manchester United and Paul Pogba’s representatives have been unable to reach an agreement on a settlement for the star midfielder, with the Frenchman stating that he has rejected a concrete offer from the Premier League club.
Pogba has one year left on his Manchester United deal, and it is up to the club to decide whether to sell the 28-year-old this summer or let him to finish his contract and go on a free transfer the following year.
French champions Paris Saint-Germain have been tracking Pogba for several years, but have yet to make an official bid for the France international. Red Devils are seeking for an alternative midfielder, with Bayern Munich’s Leon Goretzka and Rennes’ Eduardo Camvinga among the players on their list of potential acquisitions.
