Deputy Governor Of Kaduna State, Bala Bantex Laid To Rest

Former Deputy Governor Of Kaduna State, Bala Bantex Laid To Rest In His Home. On 10 July 2021, Kaduna State Indigenes woke up to the sad news of the demise of former Deputy Governor, Barnabas Bala Bantex.

However, late Bantex has been laid to rest in his country home Randiyan, Kaura Local Government Area of Kaduna State. The Burial Service was held at Manchok township square and witnessed a large crowd who came to grieve with the bereaved family. The governor of Kaduna State, Nasiru Elrufai, and his deputy, Hadiza Sabuwa were present at the funeral. The deputy governor of Plateau and Nassarawa States were also present.

The General Secretary of ECWA Rev Yunusa Mmadu who gave a sermon admonished the people to learn from the legacies Bantex left behind.

Brief History of Bala Barnabas Bantex.

The Late Bantex was Gov Elrufai’s deputy Governor from 2015 – 2019 before he was replaced by Hajiya Sabuwa Hadiza after he vied for the Senate seat of the Southern Kaduna district but lost to Senator Danjuma Laah. Bala Bantex hails from Manchok in Kaura LG of Kaduna state and is a graduate of the University of Lagos where he studied Architecture. He died at the age of 64 – until his painful demise, he was an active member of the All Progressive Party APC.
